Guru King

 

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY  OCEAN

 

Glad to meet our guru king

Wearing now his new gold ring,

Keeping him to stay so strong

To carry us all with him along.

 

He takes us to the strangest places

Where we meet the oddest faces,

Continuing on earth, to love

Knowing what's going on above.

 

Twice a week we sit and talk.

On Sundays it's celebrate and walk,

Drink a modest glass of wine

And investigate the latest sign.

 

Everything he tries to log,

Supported by his faithful dog,

So all of us are learning fast

And sure our wisdom here will last.

 

Resounding thanks to our guru king!

In truth I wish we all could sing

With resonance in our different parts

To bless him from our deepest hearts.
