The next outing for the Adam's Earth Grid was to triangulate three places - St Michael's Mount, Zennor and then Old Grimsby in the Isles of Scilly.

At Zennor, there is a super pub called the Tinner's Arms which serves an excellent local beer called Mermaid and in the church there is a mermaids chair:
Here is a map of Zennor - and a link to the Mermaid story. The bit that intrigues me is that the woman of the story (who was believed to be a mermaid) never aged. The legend has it that she came ashore at Pendour Cove (which is the second cove in from the left)
Tomorrow, I am taking the ferry to the Isles of Scilly and will post another blog recording the next part of the triangulation.
