Venice and the amazing paintings of Paul the Ventian

I am just back from an amazing trip to Venice which is described below. But before then, I need to apologise for the lack of posts since Marston Moor. I have been busy writing a book - called my Way Zen, the journey hOMe.

I stayed near San Barnabas square at an airbnb down a pokey road (which was quite busy)






The church of San Sebastian is located near the Gudieca and was built to celebrate the PGR (Per Grazia Ricevuta - For Grace received) in saving the survivors of the great plague. A lot of the paintings are painted by Paulo Veronese or Paul the Venetian.



Here is a great example of his mastery. The coronation of the Virgin in the sacristy. It is stunning and I spent many hours contemplating these paintings.
